Enable add-ons
Add-ons are optional modules that extend Xignage — for example, Fixgen, Google Sheets, Proof of Play, and Screen Sync. They're managed with a team-level enable/disable model plus optional per-site overrides.
Enable an add-on for your team
- Open the Add-Ons catalogue from the dashboard.
- Find the add-on you want and toggle it on for your team.
- Configure any options the add-on exposes (toggles, selects, numbers, or multi-selects).
Once enabled at the team level, the add-on is available across the team.
Per-site overrides
Some add-ons let you override the team default for an individual site. When a site override exists, it takes precedence over the team setting — handy when one location needs different settings (or the add-on disabled) from the rest.
For example, you might enable Proof of Play team-wide but disable it at a single site, or configure different promoted sports channels per site in Fixgen.
How configuration is resolved
For each user, the platform resolves an add-on's enabled state and configuration by merging the team-level default with any site-level override. Site overrides win where they exist; otherwise the team default applies. The result is cached per user for fast lookups.
