Use templates
A template is a reusable creative configuration — canvas size, layers, colours, and data source bindings — that gives you a consistent starting point for new designs. Templates are great when many creatives share the same layout but vary in content.
Template visibility
Each template has a visibility setting:
- Private — only visible to you.
- Team — visible to all members of your team.
- Global — visible to all teams across the platform (super admins only).
Create a template
Option 1 — from the Templates page:
- Go to Templates and click New Template.
- Build your design in the template builder.
- Set the visibility using the dropdown in the top bar.
- Click Save.
Option 2 — from an existing creative:
- Open a creative in the builder.
- Click Save as Template in the top bar.
- Give it a name, optional description, and visibility.
- Click Save Template.
Use a template
- Go to Templates.
- Pick a template and click Create Creative.
- A new creative opens, pre-loaded with the template's canvas and layers.
- Edit the content and publish as normal.
Organise templates
Templates can be categorised by category and industry, making it easy to find the right starting point for a vertical (retail, hospitality, sports, and so on). Thumbnails are generated automatically.
