Create layouts
A layout divides a single screen into one or more regions called zones. Each zone can display its own playlist or creative, so one screen can show several things at once — a video zone beside a menu board, or a header, body, and footer running together.
Create a layout
- Go to Layouts and click New Layout.
- Set the resolution to match your screen (for example, 1920×1080 landscape or 1080×1920 portrait).
- Add zones by drawing regions on the canvas.
- Save the layout.
Assign content to zones
For each zone, assign content from the zone's content manager:
- Open the layout and select a zone.
- Add a playlist, a creative, or media from your library.
- Drag to reorder content within the zone.
- Save.
Per-zone scheduling
Each zone's content can be scheduled independently. For example, the body zone could show a breakfast playlist in the morning and a dinner playlist in the evening, while the header zone runs the same branding all day.
Assign a layout to a screen
- Open the screen you want to configure.
- Choose the layout.
- Publish the change.
The screen downloads the layout and the content for each zone on its next check-in.
Next steps
- Schedule content per zone.
- Publish changes to push the layout live.
